Folk Fights Back Chicago: For Immigrants And Refugees

  • American Legion Post 42 1030 Central Street Evanston, IL, 60201 United States (map)

Folk Fights Back is a global musician-led organization that seeks to raise money and awareness for critical issues during the Trump presidency. Our second event, Folk Fights Back for Immigrants and Refugees, will raise money for local organizations that are doing litigation or other support work for refugees and immigrants. These concerts also seek to raise awareness about these critical issues, and will feature representation and information from the non-profits being supported. All proceeds of this Folk Fights Back Chicago show will go to RefugeeOne (refugeeone.org).

RefugeeOne is the largest refugee resettlement agency in Illinois.
The agency resettles hundreds of refugees from around the world who are fleeing war, persecution, violence, or genocide. Resettlement is often difficult and stressful. To assist, RefugeeOne provides a comprehensive and multi-faceted range of programs that empower newly-arrived refugees with the support and the skills necessary for successfully rebuilding their new lives.
