What's Next for Illinois? w/ Ald. Ameya Pawar

  • Heartland Cafe 7000 North Glenwood Avenue Chicago, IL, 60626 United States (map)

Join us on March 6th at 7 pm for an evening of envisioning a progressive future for our state. We will be discussing why good people don't run for office, what we mean when we say we want a 'progressive' in office, and what issues are important to us on the state level. We will then hear from this meeting's guest speaker, Alderman Ameya Pawar of the 47th Ward, who has announced that he will run for Governor in 2018. There will be a Q & A session to follow. As always, arrive early if you'd like to have a meal before the meeting and know that you can park in the Eugene Field Elementary School parking lot.
