The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists: Fireside Chat with March for Science Chicago

  • WeWork Kinzie 20 West Kinzie Street Chicago, IL, 60654 United States (map)

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, for the first time in its 70 year history, moved the Doomsday Clock thirty seconds forward.

Over the course of 2016, the global security landscape darkened as the international community failed to come effectively to grips
with humanity’s most pressing existential threats, nuclear weapons and climate change.

March for Science Chicago hosts The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' Executive Director and Publisher, Rachel Bronson, and Danial Holz, Associate Professor in Physics, Astronomy & Astrophysics, the Enrico Fermi Institute, and the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics, at the University of Chicago. We will sit down and discuss the strategy and decisions behind moving the Doomsday Clock.

Tickets go live Saturday, April 15th at 10 AM, limited seats available.
