Sustainability and Social Justice: A Community Forum

  • Conrad Sulzer Regional Library 4455 North Lincoln Avenue Chicago, IL, 60625 United States (map)

How will climate change affect Chicago? Is Lake Michigan's water clean? How do I know if my water has lead in it? Is pollution a racial issue?

Join Chicago Action Alliance for an interactive Q&A with several local environmental organizations who are working on the front lines of these issues. Learn about what environmental issues are most important in Chicago right now, how those issues affect different neighborhoods, and what local groups are doing to protect our health and our natural resoures.

As always, following the Q&A session, we will have time for you to meet with the organizations and find out how you can get involved.

Presenting organizations:
Chicago 350
Chicago Conservation Corps
