Chicago Foundation for Women raises money to fund and support organizations that help women and girls. They improve the lives of women and girls through grants, advocacy, leadership development, and public and grantee education. Since 1985, they have given more than 3,000 grants totaling over $28 million and helped thousands of women and girls become philanthropists. Their grantmaking focuses on three strategies to improve women's and girls' lives: expanding economic security, ensuring freedom from violence, and enhancing access to health services and information.

Folk Fights Back is a musician-led organization that seeks to empower the community to fight for social and political justice in a politically troubling time. We believe that folk musicians have a powerful role as the voice of the people, and can lead the way towards a brighter future.

Folk Fights Back is a series of benefit shows that happen all over the country and even internationally on the same day or in close proximity. Focusing on one central cause every other month, each show partners with a local non-profit to raise money and awareness around the issue.
